1. General information

This subject aims to promote in students the reflection on the formative and cultural importance of Greek and Latin in secondary education. Accordingly, the aim is to provide the student with the appropriate resources for the preparation and teaching of the subjects in question in the current social and educational framework. SDG: Goal 3: Health and wellness.

2. Learning results

Describe and analyse the basic contents of Greek and Latin languages and literatures and apply them in a problem-solving context. Value the importance of Greek and Latin languages and literatures from a phenomenological, cultural and epistemological point of view . Analyse and prioritize the different contents of the Greek and Latin languages and literatures in terms of their formative value. Identify the contents of these disciplines and select the most convenient for the curricular design of the subjects of E.S.O. and Bachillerato.

Greek language: grammar in the teaching-learning process.

Latin language: grammar in the teaching-learning process.

Greek literature: authors, genres and texts in the teaching-learning process.

Latin literature: authors, genres and texts in the teaching-learning process.

Classical Culture: Texts and Contexts in the Ancient World

4. Academic activities

Classroom work will be carried out through theoretical presentations accompanied by subsequent discussion, all combined with the students' autonomous work from the recommended bibliography and with the practical work derived from it. The approach, methodology and evaluation of this guide is prepared to be the same in any teaching scenario. They shall comply with the socio-sanitary conditions of each moment, as well as with the indications given by the competent authorities.

5. Assessment system

Types of tests:

The student will elaborate and deliver two units of the current syllabus for the Secondary School official examinations in the specialties of Latin and Greek, previously agreed with the teachers, for its later exposition and debate in the classroom.

Assessment criteria: Correctness in writing and the adaptation of the units to the formal requirements will be valued , as well as the ability to adapt the contents to the teaching environment and the clarity in the exposition of concepts and ideas.

Levels of demand (Grading criteria and requirements to pass the subject): Papers must be submitted on the date agreed upon at the beginning of the subject. Each of them will be evaluated: 80% for the content of the unit (theoretical basis, organization and coherence of the contents) and 20% for the form and its adequacy to the purposes of the subject . The final grade will consist of the arithmetic mean between the grades of both papers.

Global test and second call:

The student will elaborate and deliver two units of the current syllabus for the Secondary School official examinations in the specialties of Latin and Greek, by previous agreement with the teacher, to be delivered on the date set by the Center. The evaluation criteria and the levels of demand are the same as for the continuous evaluation.

Fifth and sixth call:

They coincide in format and criteria with the global evaluation of the first call.

Finally, it must be taken into account that the Regulations of the Norms of Coexistence of the University of Zaragoza will be applicable to the irregularities committed in the evaluation tests by means of academic fraud, as well as the application of article 30 of the Regulations of the Norms of Evaluation of Learning in relation to irregular practices other than academic fraud.

1. Información básica de la asignatura

Esta asignatura tiene por objetivo promover en los estudiantes la reflexión sobre la importancia formativa y cultural del Griego y el Latín en la enseñanza secundaria. De acuerdo con ello, se persigue dotar al estudiante de los recursos adecuados para la preparación y enseñanza de las materias en cuestión en el actual marco social y educativo. ODS: Objetivo 3: Salud y bienestar. Objetivo 4: Educación de calidad. Objetivo 5: Igualdad de género. Objetivo 8: Trabajo decente y crecimiento económico. Objetivo 9: Industria, innovación e infraestructuras. Objetivo 10: Reducción de las desigualdades. Objetivo 11: Ciudades y comunidades sostenibles. Objetivo 16: Paz, justicia e instituciones sólidas. Objetivo 17: Alianzas para lograr los objetivos.

2. Resultados de aprendizaje

Describir y analizar los contenidos básicos de las lenguas y las literaturas griega y latina y aplicarlos en un contexto de resolución de problemas. Valorar la importancia de las lenguas y las literaturas griegas y latinas desde un punto de vista fenomenológico, cultural y epistemológico. Analizar y priorizar los distintos contenidos de las lenguas y las literaturas griega y latina en función de su valor formativo. Identificar los contenidos propios de estas disciplinas y seleccionar los más convenientes para el diseño curricular de las asignaturas de E.S.O. y Bachillerato.

3. Programa de la asignatura

Lengua griega: gramática en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje.

Lengua latina: gramática en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje.

Literatura griega: autores, géneros y textos en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje.

Literatura latina: autores, géneros y textos en el proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje.

Cultura Clásica: textos y contextos en el Mundo Antiguo

4. Actividades académicas

Se trabajará en el aula mediante exposiciones teóricas acompañadas de debate posterior, todo ello combinado con el trabajo autónomo de los estudiantes a partir de la bibliografía recomendada y con el trabajo práctico derivado de ello. El planteamiento, metodología y evaluación de esta guía está preparado para ser el mismo en cualquier escenario de docencia. Se ajustarán a las condiciones socio-sanitarias de cada momento, así como a las indicaciones dadas por las autoridades competentes.

5. Sistema de evaluación

El estudiante elaborará y entregará dos unidades de los temarios vigentes para las oposiciones a Secundaria en las especialidades de latín y griego, previo acuerdo con los profesores, para su posterior exposición y debate en el aula.

Criterios de evaluación: Se valorará la corrección en la redacción y la adaptación de las unidades a los requerimientos formales, así como la capacidad para adaptar los contenidos al ámbito docente y la claridad en la exposición de conceptos e ideas.

Niveles de exigencia (Criterios de calificación y requisitos para aprobar la asignatura): Los trabajos deberán ser entregados en la fecha convenida al principio de la asignatura. Se valorará en cada uno de ellos: un 80% el contenido de la unidad (fundamentación teórica, organización y coherencia de los contenidos) y un 20% la forma y su adecuación a los fines de la asignatura. La calificación final consistirá en la media aritmética entre las calificaciones de ambos trabajos.

Prueba global y segunda convocatoria:

El alumno elaborará y entregará dos unidades de los temarios vigentes para las oposiciones a Secundaria en las especialidades de latín y griego, previo acuerdo con el profesor, para su entrega en la fecha fijada por el Centro. Los criterios de evaluación y los niveles de exigencia son los mismos que para la evaluación continua.

Quinta y sexta convocatoria:

Coinciden en formato y criterios con la evaluación global de la primera convocatoria.

Finalmente, hay que tener en cuenta que será de aplicación el Reglamento de las Normas de Convivencia de la Universidad de Zaragoza a las irregularidades cometidas en las pruebas de evaluación mediante fraude académico, así como la aplicación del artículo 30 del Reglamento de Normas de Evaluación del Aprendizaje en relación a las prácticas irregulares distintas de fraude académico.
